Russia ready to deliver construction materials and wood products to Uzbekistan at reduced price
With the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, members of the delegation headed by the governor of Surkhandarya region Tura Bobolov organized a business trip to the Tomsk and Altai regions of Russia.
Businessmen and entrepreneurs of the two countries held B2B meetings in Tomsk. Within the framework of the talks, it was agreed to organize the direct import of light industry and agricultural products, as well as construction materials and wood products from Russia at low prices.
The members of the country’s delegation got acquainted with the activities of industrial enterprises in the region. The issue of delivering the products of these enterprises to Uzbekistan at reduced prices was also considered.
In the Altai region, the delegation discussed cooperation issues on organizing the export of fruits and vegetables as well as light industry products. The parties reached several agreements on the import of wheat, vegetable oil, wood products and others.
