According to the press service of the Chilanzar district administration, on the territory where the school is located, there was an accident due to an overload on the transformer, in connection with which the electricity was temporarily turned off.
“Due to a power outage, 17 out of 66 classrooms had no electricity. One of the teachers, on his own initiative, decided to continue his studies and held lessons by candlelight,” the district administration said.
The next day, the problem with the school’s electricity supply was resolved.
“Currently, the school is fully provided with electricity,” the district administration said in a statement.
