Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrives in Uzbekistan on a state visit

At the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Uzbekistan on December 21 on a state visit, the presidential press service reported.

At the Tashkent airport, Tokayev was met by Mirziyoyev. They greeted each other warmly and had a brief conversation.

Then the President of Kazakhstan visited the New Uzbekistan Park, where, according to tradition, he laid flowers at the Independence Monument.
