Ex-khokim of Andijan city sentenced to 10 years
He and a group of individuals were accused of looting 63 billion soums from the state budget.

According to the press service of the Supreme Court, on December 26, 2022, the open trial of the criminal case against B. Khaydarov was completed and the verdict was announced at the Fergana regional court.
According to the judgment of the criminal trial panel of the Supreme Court, B. Khaydarov was found guilty of committing the crimes stipulated in Paragraphs “a”, “v” of Article 167-3 (Embezzlement), Paragraphs “a”, “b” of Article 209-2 (Professional fraud) and Article 243 (Legalization of proceeds derived from criminal activities). He was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment, deprived of the right to work in positions with financial responsibility for 3 years.
Also, Khaydarov was imposed a fine of 350 BCAs (85,750,000 soums).
