Indian government investigating Dok-1 Maks manufacturing company
The Indian company Marion Biotech has stopped the production of Dok-1 Maks syrup, which caused the death of at least 19 children in Uzbekistan.
The Indian government has launched an inquiry into the matter and a report will be issued soon, Reuters said.
According to UzA, the investigation is being conducted by the Narcotics Licensing and Control Department of Uttar Pradesh. The investigating party has also requested a report from the Uzbek government on the children who died.
