Ministers of finance and higher education dismissed
The Minister of Finance Temur Ishmetov was appointed the first deputy adviser to the president, and the Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Abdukodir Toshkulov was appointed the deputy adviser to the president.
By the relevant presidential decree, Timur Ishmetov was appointed to the position of the first deputy adviser to the president on issues of development of economic sectors, investment and foreign trade policy implementation, and in connection with this, he was released from the position of minister of finance.
Also, Abdukodir Toshkulov was appointed to the position of the deputy adviser to the president on youth, science, education, health, culture and sports issues and was released from the position of the minister of higher and secondary special education.
Abdukodir Toshkulov has been working as the Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education since January 2021, and Temur Ishmetov has been working as the Minister of Finance since February 2020.
Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vladimir Norov, was dismissed, and Bakhtiyor Saidov, who has been working as the Minister of Public Education until now, was appointed in his place.
