Uzbekistan signs new agreement for electricity supply to Afghanistan in 2023
JSC National Power Grid of Uzbekistan and the Afghan energy company DABS signed a contract for the supply of electricity for 2023.

“We signed an agreement on the purchase of electricity from Uzbekistan,” the company said.
From the Uzbek side, the document was inked by the Board Chairman of JSC National Power Grid of Uzbekistan Dadajon Isakulov.
According to TKG, Abdul-Latif Mansur, acting head of the Afghan Ministry of Water and Energy, recently visited Uzbekistan.
He told Bakhtar News that the debt to be repaid is about $35 million.
