Gov’t extends winter vacation period in educational institutions 

Educational processes will begin on Wednesday, January 18.

For information, the winter vacation for schoolchildren in Uzbekistan was supposed to last until January 11, and for higher education institutions – until January 9.

Earlier, Uzhydromet reported that on January 10-15, the air temperature across the republic will fall to -17 °C at night, -8 °C during the day, -22 °C at night in the north. In some places of Ustyurt and desert areas, the temperature may drop to -27 °C at night and -10 °C during the day.
