Uzbekistan Airways extends the period of 50% discount for students

“Air tickets purchased on a discount for flights until January 10 can be re-issued free of charge for flights scheduled until January 18, 2023,” the company said in a statement.

The measure is related to the extension of winter holidays for students of higher, secondary specialized and vocational educational institutions.

Earlier, Uzhydromet warned that adverse weather conditions would hit Uzbekistan in the coming week. Air temperature is expected to drop below 20 degrees in some regions.

Winter holidays are extended until January 17, classes will start on January 18.
