Plane flying from Tashkent to Kazan lands successfully despite engine failure
The Airbus A320 belonging to Uzbekistan Airways reported an engine failure before landing while flying from the city of Tashkent to the city of Kazan, Russia, AVIAINCIDENT Telegram channel reported.

According to the source, the plane UK32012, operating the flight UZB9649 to Kazan on January 7, reported about a failure in one of the engines at 19:40 local time and requested permission to fly at an altitude of 2,700 feet.
At 19:43, it is reported that the plane could land at the Kazan airport. At 19:49, a rescue alarm was sounded at the Kazan airfield. At 19:57, the pilots successfully landed the plane at the Kazan airfield, despite the engine failure. After that the alarm was canceled.
According to the Flightradar24 portal, the plane really landed in Kazan at 19:57. On the flight map, one can see that the plane circled once in the sky before landing.
