Uzbekistan, Ukraine discuss cooperation in field of dairy production

Reportedly, during the conversation, topical issues of Uzbek-Ukrainian bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture were discussed.

In particular, an exchange of views took place on the prospects for further expansion of cooperation in the production of dairy products, providing the population of Uzbekistan with quality food and other areas.

According to the Ukrainian State Service, the meeting took place last week.

“The deepening of bilateral cooperation, the elimination of technical obstacles, the simplification of accreditation of Ukrainian enterprises exporting food products in Uzbekistan and other topics of economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed last week with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Ukraine,” the message says.

It became known that to date, 17 forms of international certificates have been agreed between Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to hold an online meeting between employees of the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development of Uzbekistan and specialists from the State Food and Consumer Service in order to find ways to optimize control in the field of food safety and veterinary medicine.
