The Statistics Agency has provided data about districts with the lowest number of permanent residents.

According to the agency, as of January 1, 2023, the following districts have the smallest population in Uzbekistan:
— Tomdi district - 15.8 thousand people
— Korovulbazar district - 19.5 thousand people
— Bozatov district - 21.9 thousand people
— Yangiabad district - 29.5 thousand people
— Moynok district - 33.4 thousand people
— Konimekh district - 37.3 thousand people
— Takhtakopir district - 39 thousand people
— Uchkuduk district - 39,1 thousand people
— Arnasoy district - 48.1 thousand people
— Zafarabad district - 52.7 thousand people
