Uzbekistan registers over 266,000 births in first four months of 2025
Between January and April 2025, a total of 266,478 live births were officially registered across Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Between January and April 2025, a total of 266,478 live births were officially registered across Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Of these births:
• 260,119 were single births (one baby);
• 6,179 were twin births (two babies);
• 180 cases involved triplets or more (three or more babies born at once).
The data highlights a steady birth rate in the country, with multiple births remaining relatively rare – only 180 cases of triplets or higher were recorded during the four-month period.
