An Uzbek woman who was previously declared dead in Turkey found
Recently, social networks spread information that a 48-year-old Uzbek woman died as a result of an earthquake in Turkey, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul reported.
“Yesterday, unknown people spread the news on social networks that Shokhista Niyazova (born in 1975), a citizen of Uzbekistan, permanently residing in Namangan region, died in a collapsed building as a result of an earthquake in Turkey,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
Based on the above report, Uzbek diplomats found Shokhista Niyazova.
She was taken to the hospital and underwent a medical examination, the necessary medical care was provided. At present, her health condition is satisfactory.
“Measures are being taken to send Shokhista Niyazova to Uzbekistan in the near future,” the Consulate concluded.
