Mirziyoyev and Putin discuss strengthening comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia
On February 16, Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

During the conversation, the parties discussed topical issues of further development of multifaceted cooperation and strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia.
The sides paid special attention to the issues of building up mutual trade, deepening industrial cooperation between leading enterprises, and implementing investment projects in priority sectors.
In this regard, the importance of holding the international exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia” and the Uzbekistan-Russia Forum of Regions was noted.
The leaders of the two states also exchanged views on the issues of intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchanges, and also considered the schedule of upcoming events.
