Shavkat Mirziyoyev departs for Cairo
On February 20, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Cairo on an official visit at the invitation of the President of Egypt, Abdul Fattah al-Sisi.
According to the program of the visit, high-level talks will be held at the Al-Ittihadiya palace in Cairo.
The parties will discuss pressing issues of further expansion of multilateral cooperation in priority areas. Following the talks, a number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed.
Mirziyoyev will also hold a meeting with representatives of leading Egyptian companies.
The president will get acquainted with the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, which has a rich collection of monuments and objects related to the history of the country from the most ancient past to the present day.
