Mirziyoyev, Tokayev hold informal meeting

According to the press service of the President of Kazakhstan, the heads of state discussed in detail the current state of relations and prospects for strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

The parties also considered the implementation of the agreements reached following the state visit of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Tashkent in December last year.

Particular attention was paid to issues of trade and economic cooperation.

In particular, the sides discussed the prospects for increasing mutual trade, attracting investments and developing cooperation in the industrial, energy, agricultural, transport and logistics sectors.

There was also an exchange of views on topical issues of the regional agenda.
