Mirziyoyev to visit Surkhandarya region

Today, March 13, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Surkhandarya region.

According to press secretary Sherzod Asadov, the head of state will take part in the session of the regional council of people’s deputies. It is planned to get acquainted with the development of industry and agriculture in the region, launch new projects, and visit military facilities.

It should be recalled that on February 8, Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the “Ezgulik” mahalla of Sergeli district and got acquainted with the life of the population.

Prior to this, the President made a 3-day trip to the Fergana Valley.

On February 10, the head of state visited Jizzakh region. There, he held a meeting on the development of industry and expansion of the use of renewable energy sources in the Jizzakh region.

In addition, a ceremony of launching three new enterprises was held in Jizzakh. Mirziyoyev also visited a branch of Kazan Federal University.

On February 17, the head of state visited the Bukhara region, and on February 24 – Kashkadarya region.
