Uzbekistan Airways launches flights between Tashkent and Omsk
Uzbekistan Airways has launched direct regular flights from Omsk to Tashkent, Governor of the Russian oblast Alexander Burkov said on his Telegram channel.
Direct flights from Omsk to Tashkent will be operated every Sunday.
“A direct flight is not only an incentive for business activity, but also a good opportunity for tourist exchange,” the head of the region wrote.
At the beginning of 2023, Alexander Burkov said that five new flights to the largest cities in Asia would be launched from Omsk airport in March. The draft schedule of Omsk airport for the spring-summer period includes flights to the capital of Armenia - Yerevan, Uzbekistan - Namangan, the largest city in the south of Kyrgyzstan - Osh, Tajikistan - Dushanbe and the capital of Kazakhstan - Astana.
