Uzbekistan plans to mitigate punishment for violation of trade rules
The Single Portal published a draft law “On the introduction of amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the transfer of criminal liability for violation of the rules of trade or the provision of services to administrative jurisdiction”.
In accordance with the project, it is supposed to exclude criminal liability for violation of the rules of trade or the provision of services, Norma reports.
At the same time, it is proposed to establish administrative liability for violation of the rules of trade or provision of services on an especially large scale (from 500 BCAs and more).
As a sanction, a fine is provided for:
• citizens – 200 BCAs;
• officials – 300 BCAs.
The draft document can be changed, supplemented or rejected.
