According to the director general of Rosgeologiya, at the end of March this year, the company signed a contract for seismic exploration in the Aral Sea in Uzbekistan for 1.6 billion rubles, the director general of the state holding Sergey Gorkov told journalists.
Now the company’s portfolio includes 7 foreign projects in Asia and Africa, negotiations on concluding contracts and participating in tenders are underway for projects in ten countries in Asia and Africa, follows from Gorkov’s presentation.
According to the director general of Rosgeologiya, at the end of March this year, the company signed a contract for seismic exploration in the Aral Sea in Uzbekistan for 1.6 billion rubles.
The company has also received contracts for seismic data processing projects in Pakistan and Iraq. In April, Rosgeologiya, according to Gorkov, also plans to sign a contract for processing seismic data with ADNOC from the UAE.
Sergey Grishunin, managing director of the NRA rating service, believes that the contract with Uzbekistan will become the flagship in the foreign activities of Rosgeologiya in 2023.
Independent industrial expert Leonid Khazanov names promising foreign areas of work for Rosgeologiya the countries of Central Asia – Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Pakistan. Also, interest in the services of the holding, in his opinion, may be in Turkey, Mongolia, India, and from the states of Africa – Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria, Angola, Mozambique.
