The mosque was completed in 3 years with the support of mahalla activists and generous people. It has main and underground praying rooms, ablution room, 38-meter minaret, library and parking lot.
For its construction, approval was obtained from all relevant authorities – the Committee on Religious Affairs, the Muslim Board. At the same time, the building meets the requirements of urban development norms.
Currently, only the signature of Alimardon Karshiyev, deputy governor of Tashkent city for relations with public and religious organizations, is missing for the mosque opening and the start of worship, mahalla activists said.
If the administrative official approves the mosque opening, mahalla activists plan to register it as a religious organization through the judicial authorities and share joy with Muslims in the month of Ramadan.
