Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan ratify agreements on military cooperation
At the 39th plenary session of the Senate, the laws “On the ratification of the agreement on military cooperation between the government of Uzbekistan and the government of Azerbaijan (Tashkent, June 21, 2022)” and “On the ratification of the agreement on military-technical cooperation between the government of Uzbekistan and the government of Azerbaijan (Tashkent, June 21, 2022)” were considered.

During the meeting, it was noted that these agreements were signed within the framework of the state visit of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Uzbekistan and aimed at the development of bilateral cooperation in the military, military-technical, military-educational spheres, as well as in other areas where the interests of the parties intersect.
According to senators, adoption of the agreements will give a new impetus to the development of bilateral relations and serve to strengthen regional security.
The laws were approved by senators.
