SSS detain individuals selling gold coins for $145,000 in Tashkent region
The detainees planned to sell two gold coins issued in 1876.
The State Security Service and the Kibray district department of the Prosecutor General’s Office detained two citizens who tried to sell gold coins.
They asked $145,000 for two gold coins with a total weight of 76.2 g with the inscription “Empress Maria Feodorovna”, issued in 1876.
They were detained with physical evidence while selling the coins.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Art. 177 of the Criminal Code (Illegal acquisition or sale of currency values), investigative actions are underway.
