Regular flights between Warsaw and Tashkent to be launched by year-end
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Warsaw held a meeting with the leadership of LOT Polish Airlines.
According to Robert Ludera, Director of Network & Alliances at LOT Polish Airlines, a delegation of the company is planning to visit Uzbekistan next month to discuss with the country’s officials the issue of establishing regular flights between Warsaw and Tashkent by the end of this year.
LOT Polish Airlines expressed interest in developing long-term cooperation with Uzbekistan and starting regular direct flights.
The agreement on the implementation of direct flights connecting the capitals of the two countries was reached with the support of the diplomatic mission in August 2022 during the negotiations with the vice president of LOT Polish Airlines Michal Fijol as part of Transport Minister Ilhom Mahkamov's visit to Poland.
