Football U-20: Uzbekistan beats Dominican Republic – 3:0

On April 25, the national team of Uzbekistan under 20 played a friendly with the Dominican Republic as part of preparations for the upcoming world championship in Argentina.

The game was held in Spain and the team of Uzbekistan completely dominated the match.

The first goal of the game was scored in the 20th minute by Shahzod Rakhmatullaev, later, the Dominican Republic conceded two more goals from penalty kicks by Pulatkhoja Holdorkhonov (40') and Abbosbek Fayzullaev (75'). Uzbekistan defeated their opponents with a clear advantage (3:0).

The world championship will be held in Argentina from May 20 to June 11. The national team of Uzbekistan will play in the same group as the hosts of the tournament and the current champion – the national team of Argentina.
