An unpleasant incident took place in the village of Badal, located in Samarkand district, on the night of April 21, that is, on the eve of Ramadan Eid. Unknown persons broke into the sheep shed of a farmer living in this village, located along the Tashkent-Termiz highway, and slaughtered 6 sheep. They also stole 3 more sheep from the farmer.

The perpetrators left a threatening letter to the owner of the sheep. The letter, full of spelling mistakes, reads: “An anonymous letter. Donate, your eyes will open. Get rid of your chicanery. God willing, you will face the same situation. Do you understand? You are a filthy traitor.

The sheep owner told Kun.uz that the sheep were slaughtered by a person who knew about the butchery, and their legs were tied appropriately. The farmer says that all the sheep that were slaughtered were pregnant.

When the owner learnt about this incident, he appealed to the mahalla prophylactic inspector, but according to him, no action has been taken so far.
In order to find out whether a case has been opened in this regard, the Kun.uz correspondent called the prophylactic inspector of the mahalla where the incident happened in the village of Badal. But when the inspector was told what the call was for, he hung up. Also, he completely neglected the repeated calls.
