Egypt sends 17 thousand boxes of Daclatasvir medicine against hepatitis C to Uzbekistan

The first batch of medicines allocated as humanitarian aid arrived in Tashkent.
On April 29 of this year, the first batch of Daclatasvir antiviral medication, allocated by the Egyptian government as humanitarian aid, arrived in Tashkent.
It is noted that more than 17,000 boxes of the medicine with a total value of $35,000 will be used for the treatment of patients by the Virology Research Institute under the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
For information, the health authorities of Uzbekistan and Egypt reached an agreement on the free delivery of Daclatasvir and Sofosbuvir anti-hepatitis C drugs to Uzbekistan in 2023-2024. Their total value will be $4.8 million.
