Senate to convene for next plenary session on May 3
Today, May 1, a meeting of the Council of the Senate of Oliy Majlis was held in Tashkent.
According to the parliamentary press service, the meeting adopted a resolution to convene the 40th plenary session of the Senate on May 3 this year.
It was noted that at the plenary session, which will be held using a videoconferencing system, it is planned to discuss a number of laws.
These laws include:
- “On amendments and additions to the Administrative Responsibility Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan”;
- “On the introduction of additions and amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at ensuring the inviolability of funds in the bank accounts of entrepreneurs”;
- “On amendments to the Administrative Responsibility Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The plenary session will also discuss the laws “On the Ratification of the Convention of the International Labor Organization No. 148 on the Protection of Workers from Occupational Risk Caused by Air Pollution, Noise and Vibration at Workplaces (Geneva, June 20, 1977)” and “On the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the use of airspace and airfields by state aviation aircraft in force majeure circumstances (Dushanbe, June 10, 2021)”.
