Liquefied gas filling station catches fire and explodes in Pakhtachi district
The fire was extinguished, one person was injured in the accident.
On May 9, at 21:25, a fire and an explosion occurred in the territory of a liquefied gas filling station located in Yangiabad mahalla of Pakhtachi district, Samarkand region.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 5 fire-rescue crews arrived at the scene, surrounded the fire at 22:30 and extinguished it at 23:00.
As a result of the fire, 3 Isuzu cars and 50-liter liquefied hydrocarbon gas cylinders in the area were damaged.
It is assumed that the incident occurred as a result of violation of safety rules during the process of releasing gas from the MAN liquefied gas transporter to the reserve capacity at the station.
According to preliminary information, one person was injured as a result of the incident. Currently, the consequences of the accident are being eliminated.
