On Wednesday, the CEC reported that the election campaign for the presidential elections in Uzbekistan begins on May 10.
The deadline for creating constituencies is May 15, and polling stations will be established on May 25.
In addition, a unified electronic list of voters will be created.
Political parties must, within three days after the announcement of the election campaign, apply to the Central Election Commission for the registration of their authorized representatives.
To participate in the elections, parties must submit documents before May 15. Presidential candidates will be nominated from May 17 to June 1.
It should be reminded that on May 8, Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced early presidential elections in Uzbekistan. The head of state told why he refuses the remaining three and a half years of the presidential term on his own initiative.
