“We highly appreciate the current level of regional dialogue on stability and security issues. We have been taking a principled position on the issues of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our countries.

Uzbekistan supports China’s global initiative based on the principles of indivisibility of security and peaceful development in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.

We propose to establish close cooperation between the Central Asian countries and China’s special services and law enforcement agencies in the fight against the three evil forces, drug trafficking, cross-border and cybercrime,” the president said.

It is noted that it is important to fully use the platforms of the Dialogue Group within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Afghanistan’s neighboring countries to develop an agreed position and adopt measures to prevent a humanitarian disaster in Afghanistan.

“Dear Mr. Xi Jinping, as you mentioned yesterday, it is important that we jointly advance issues related to the creation of an inclusive political system in Afghanistan and the establishment of large-scale cooperation between our countries against terrorism.

We also hope that the world community and the Afghan government will support our initiative to create a high-level international group under the auspices of the United Nations to develop an algorithm for fulfilling mutual obligations.

In order to regularly coordinate our joint actions, we propose to create the mechanism of the meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils in today's format,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
