President of Singapore visits Samarkand by train

President of Singapore Halimah Yacob, who is on a state visit to Uzbekistan, arrived in Samarkand on May 25.
According to the press service of the Samarkand regional government, the high-ranking guest arrived in the city by Afrosiyob high-speed train. She is accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Zulayho Mahkamova.

At the station, Halimah Yacob was met by the governor of the region, Erkinjon Turdimov.
According to UzA, the President of Singapore started her trip to the region by visiting the Imam Bukhari complex.

Halimah Yacob arrived in Uzbekistan on May 23 on a regular flight of Uzbekistan Airways.
On May 24, she held negotiations with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and participated in the opening of the business forum of the two countries.
