Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan approve legal and technical documents on demarcation of state border
In Samarkand, negotiations were held between the government delegations of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on the demarcation of the state border.
During the talks, the parties discussed the results of joint field surveys in certain sections of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border, the press service of the government of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Following the meeting of the joint demarcation commission, the sides approved legal and technical documents on the demarcation of the border.
“The talks were held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding. Following the events, the parties signed a relevant protocol,” the report reads.
