Deadline for document submission to universities over, number of applicants exceeds 1 million
The number of applicants who registered online for the 2023 entrance exams was 1,018,007. This was slightly less than the forecast of 1.2 million.
According to the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the number of applicants who registered online for state exams reached 1,018,007.
More than half of the applicants chose full-time education:
- Full-time education — 577,096 people;
- Evening classes — 24,802 people;
- Part-time education — 407,945 people;
- Distance learning — 8,164 people.
Higher education institutions with the largest number of applicants:
- National University of Uzbekistan — 36,782 people;
- Tashkent State Transport University — 30,421 people;
- Fergana State University — 29,941 people;
- Tashkent State Pedagogical University — 28,827;
- Karshi State University — 28,417 people.
Although the application process has ended, applicants have been given one more day to make the payment. Applicants have the opportunity to pay until 23:59, July 21.
