Vice-rector of Nukus State Pedagogical Institute caught red-handed while taking $3,000 in bribe
He promised to help an applicant with his enrolment at the institute.
It is noted that during a mobile event held by the Kegeili district department of the Prosecutor General's Office in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the vice-rector of Nukus State Pedagogical Institute was arrested.
He asked for $3,000, promising an applicant help with his enrolment at the institute.
The official was caught red-handed while taking the money.
The prosecutor’s office initiated a criminal case against the official under Article 210 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
