Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives US delegation

Issues of further strengthening of strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and the USA and expansion of practical cooperation, first of all, within the framework of the inter-parliamentary dialogue of the two countries, were discussed.

It was noted with satisfaction that interactions and exchanges have been activated. Bilateral trade indicators are growing, successful cooperation projects with the participation of leading US companies are increasing. Important humanitarian programs are being implemented.

Particular attention was paid to the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation in order to promote joint projects in priority areas.

Issues on the regional agenda, including preparations for the first summit in the C5+1 format, which will be held in New York City within the framework of the UN General Assembly at the initiative of the US President, were exchanged.
