Gov't to allocate 3 trillion soums for construction of schools

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a videoconference meeting on school education issues.

During the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the increase of student seats.

Next year, 3 trillion soums will be allocated for the construction of schools as part of the Investment program. Due to this, 150,000 new student seats will be created.

In this, it was shown that the main attention should be focused on the expansion of 595 schools that are working at a capacity of more than 2 coefficients.

The Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Preschool and School Education were instructed to prepare accurate calculations and project proposals for attracting $1 billion (about 12 trillion soums) from abroad to schools within a month, and to start practical work with foreign and international financial organizations.
