Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives Pakistani delegation 

Issues of further development of the Uzbek-Pakistani multifaceted cooperation and strengthening of strategic partnership relations were discussed.

At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and Acting Prime Minister Anwar Kakar to the head of our state.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to maintaining the high growth dynamics of mutual trade, accelerating the implementation of infrastructure projects and strengthening cooperation ties between the leading enterprises of the two countries in accordance with the adopted “roadmap”.

An exchange of views took place on issues of ensuring regional security, including in the context of the development of the situation in Afghanistan.

The importance of coordinating practical efforts in order to promote the construction project of the “Termez – Mazar-i-Sharif – Peshawar” railway was emphasized.
