American Solar Turbines may open a service center in Uzbekistan
Uzbekneftegaz will explore the possibilities of using new solutions from US companies.
A delegation of Uzbekneftegaz visited the United States for negotiations with the heads of several companies in the energy sector, the press service of the state enterprise reports.
At the meetings, the progress of work on the implementation of joint initiatives, as well as promising areas of cooperation were discussed. Thus, the main topic of conversation with the President of Air Products, Seifi Ghassemi, was the development of new projects in the Uzbek energy industry.
Then the guests were received by the executive vice president of the oilfield services company Schlumberger H. Al-Morgabel. The parties discussed plans to increase hydrocarbon production in Uzbekistan and accelerate geological exploration of oil and gas reserves.
The head of Honeywell Process Solutions, P. Maheshwari, discussed with the guests the development of projects for deep processing of oil, petroleum products and synthetic products. The conversation with Exxon Mobil Vice President N. Vaughn was about expanding cooperation in licensing refining processes.
Plans to produce gas turbine engines for energy and hydrogen production were discussed with Caterpillar’s Solar Turbines company. The parties also agreed to explore the possibility of creating a service center for equipment in Uzbekistan.
Following the meetings, the Vortex Tools company offered Uzbekneftegaz technologies to increase the flow of natural gas at wells. The state-owned company promised to study the possibilities of using its solutions in its production processes.
