Criminal wanted in Uzbekistan for 15 years detained in Kazakhstan

Employees of the migration service and criminal police of the city of Almaty detained a 41-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan, reports the media center of the internal affairs body of Kazakhstan.

The man was detained during the operational-preventive event “Search – CIS”.

It is noted that the man was put on the interstate wanted list by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan 15 years ago – in 2008.

The Uzbek citizen is placed in a temporary detention center in Almaty. The issue of his extradition to Uzbekistan is currently under consideration.
