Criminal case related to Farhod Mannopov’s death brought to court
The investigative body has charged two suspects in the case of the death of blogger Farhod Mannopov (Mittivine).
As the press secretary of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Khayot Shamsutdinov, told Kun.uz, as part of the criminal case, two people were charged under Articles 116 (Improper performance of professional duties) and 117 (Leaving in danger) of the Criminal Code.
Famous blogger Farhod Mannopov died on March 5, 2023 at the age of 27 at the Star Med clinic. After this, the activity of the Star Med clinic, which performed his nose surgery, was temporarily suspended. By July, the hospital’s license had been revoked by the court.
According to the results of an inspection conducted by the Ministry of Health at the Star Med clinic, the anesthesiologist-resuscitator, plastic surgeon, laboratory assistant and ultrasound doctor who provided medical services to the patient did not have a qualification category.
