Poland to invest in growing berry crops in Uzbekistan
It is planned to grow blueberries, raspberries, currants, honeysuckle, as well as fenugreek.

Reportedly, representatives of Polish agricultural company Plantin arrived in Uzbekistan on a business mission.
As part of the visit of the Polish delegation led by the founder of the company Tadeusz Kusibab, negotiations were organized at the Ministry of Agriculture, Investment Support Agency, BMB Holding, Council of Farmers and Landowners, Jizzakh regional administration.
They discussed the issues of investing in the cultivation of berry fruit crops - blueberry, raspberry, currant, gooseberry, as well as hazelnuts in Uzbekistan.
The climate map of the territory of Uzbekistan was presented to the delegation in order to select the optimal varieties of berry crops and their subsequent localization, to create investment conditions. In addition, selected soil and water samples were provided to the Polish side for laboratory research.
Tadeusz Kusibab also emphasized that if the project is successfully implemented, he is ready to invest in the processing of berries and the production of juices, jams, syrups and extracts, and frozen products.
