Shavkat Mirziyoyev meets with Mikhail Mishustin

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who went to Moscow as part of his official visit to the Russian Federation, held talks with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, on October 6.

The meeting was held at the coordination center of the Russian government. During the talks, issues of bilateral economic cooperation were discussed.

The head of state welcomed the successful organization and holding of the third Interregional Cooperation Forum, at the end of which documents worth $3.5 billion were signed between the regions of the two countries.

Special attention was paid to maintaining the pace of trade and expanding cooperative relations. A joint Working Group was formed to effectively coordinate work on deepening industrial cooperation.

The issues of joint implementation of projects on digitalization, healthcare, education and introduction of e-trade in Uzbekistan were discussed.

It was noted that there are ample opportunities for further development of the practical partnership of the regions of the two countries and for enriching it with concrete projects.

It was agreed to establish an exchange of experience in the areas of urban development and renovation of housing stock.

At the end of the negotiations, the President of Uzbekistan invited the Chairman of the Russian Government to come to our country on an official visit.

Then the delegation of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the Coordination Center of the Russian Government.

Mikhail Mishustin gave the head of our state detailed information about the activities of this permanent office, which was established in order to ensure quick and coordinated actions of executive authorities.
