Uzbekistan increased fines for violating sanitary standards
From now on, for violation of sanitary legislation, sanitary norms, rules and hygienic standards, a fine of almost 7 million soums will be imposed.

On November 15, the president signed a decree providing for amendments and additions to some legal acts, the Ministry of Justice reports.
In particular, changes have been made to the Administrative Responsibility Code for violation of sanitary legislation, sanitary norms, rules and hygienic standards.
From now on, for such an offense, citizens will be fined in the amount of 5 to 10 BCAs (from 1 million 650 thousand soums to 3 million 300 thousand soums). Previously, the fine ranged from 1 to 3 BCAs.
Officials are subject to a fine in the amount of 15 to 20 BCAs (4 million 950 thousand soums to 6 million 600 thousand soums). Previously, the fine ranged from 5 to 10 BCAs.
