Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies expanding cooperation with Saudi Arabian university
Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Saudi Arabia held a meeting with the head of the international relations department of King Saud University Mazid al-Tarqawi to discuss the issue of signing a memorandum of understanding between the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) and the Saudi university.

An agreement to sign the document was reached during the visit of the TSOUS leadership to Saudi Arabia in January of this year.
A representative of the Arab university shared that he is closely following large-scale reforms in our country in the field of education and confirmed his interest in establishing cooperation with Uzbek partners in this direction. He said that the government of Saudi Arabia has approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with TSOUS.
An agreement was reached to organize a visit to Uzbekistan by a delegation of a Saudi university led by Rector Badran bin Abdurrahman al-Umar in order to sign this document at the end of November this year.
