Uzbekistan’s newly appointed ambassador to Italy presents his credentials to President Mattarella
The President of Italy received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Abat Faizullaev at his residence in Rome.
At the meeting, Faizullaev handed over his credentials to President Sergio Mattarella.
Following the ceremony, the parties discussed the importance of promoting strategic dialogue between the two countries. The sides expressed interest in strengthening political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Italy.
Abat Faizullaev was appointed ambassador to Italy in October this year, replacing Otabek Akbarov.
