Shavkat Mirziyoyev departs for the UAE
At the invitation of the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for the UAE on a working visit to participate in the UN Climate Change Conference.
The event will be held in Dubai and is expected to be attended by heads of state and governments of more than 150 countries, leading international organizations and financial institutions.
The agenda of the event includes the implementation of the main provisions of the UN Convention on Climate Change, the fight against today's environmental threats and risks, and broad cooperation issues in advancing the goals and objectives of "green" development.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev will deliver a speech at the plenary session of the summit and hold a number of bilateral meetings and negotiations.
Mirziyoyev’s visit lasts until December 2, according to the presidential press service.
