Uzbekistan, Malaysia to hold Intergovernmental Commission meeting and joint business forum next year
On Friday, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the King of Malaysia Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah on the sidelines of the UN Climate Change Conference in Dubai.

At the meeting, the leaders of the two countries exchanged views on further developing Uzbekistan-Malaysia relations, primarily in the economic sphere.
The parties noted with satisfaction the intensification of bilateral contacts in recent years.
The volume of mutual trade is growing, cooperation projects are being implemented in various sectors of the economy, as well as in the field of pilgrimage tourism.
To fill the partnership agenda with specific practical content, the sides reached an agreement to hold an Intergovernmental Commission meeting and a joint business forum between Uzbekistan and Malaysia next year.
