38 influential thieves in law arrested in Bukhara
During an event, the crimes of kidnapping, invasion, drugs, drug dealing and illegal possession of firearms were detected.
“Dolzarb 40 kunlik” wide-ranging rapid preventive measures are being held across the Republic to stabilize the criminal situation.
In Bukhara region, 22 unsolved crimes were uncovered and 31 wanted persons were arrested during the rapid actions conducted by the regional DIA in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, the press service of the Bukhara regional DIA reported.
“During the event, 1 case of kidnapping and burglary, 8 cases of illegal dealing in drugs and psychotropic drugs, 2 cases of possession of illegal hunting weapons and 9 other types of crimes were detected. According to Articles 137, 164, 168, 276, 251 and 248 of the Criminal Code, a criminal case was initiated against the persons suspected of these crimes, and 5 of these persons were imprisoned and precautionary measures were applied against 15.
During the raid, preventive measures were carried out with 98 people, and 38 people who may influence the criminal situation were taken into administrative custody.
Currently, extensive preventive measures are being carried out to ensure the inevitability of punishment for those who commit illegal acts.
